Dental Implants

The South Range Dental team understands the anxiety associated with losing a tooth.  Dental implants are a simple and easy solution to replace a missing tooth.  Implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. The implants are tiny titanium posts which are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. In addition, dental implants can help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration which occurs when teeth are missing.

Dental implants are changing the way people live! With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life.

Utilizing the Orthophos XG CBCT scanner at South Range Dental allows for a safer implant surgical procedure.  Guided implant surgery removes the guesswork when deciding which areas of the jawbone are suitable for dental implant procedures. The process involves CBCT scanning and digital intraoral impressions to create a 3-D image of your jaw and oral anatomy. This will provide accurate information on the amount and location of available bone. A digital treatment plan is developed to help determine the precise location of each implant before the surgery. Then a surgical guide is then produced, which will help control the exact depth and angle of the implant placement.
